Universities, industry, and administration are already cooperating in many areas, such as research. The resulting benefits for all parties enable companies to access new markets with innovations.
Universities, in turn, gain impulses for their application-oriented research. Alternative sources of funding may open up at the same time. Society benefits from new scientific findings and
economic effects. After all, the added value created by such cooperation is considerable.
In light of this, the city of Cuxhaven has entered into cooperation agreements with, among others, the Jade Hochschule Wilhelmshaven/Oldenburg/Elsfleht and with Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg
Clusteragentur GmbH in 2019/2020, focusing on the subject areas of renewable energies/offshore wind/port management.
The cooperation partners primarily strive to support each other in a constant exchange and mutual promotion of knowledge and education and to perform joint projects, in particular in the fields
of renewable energies/port management.
